You can access the bottom of this trail from FS 477, or the top of it from gated road 5058. Much of this trail is classic Pisgah singletrack, complete with gnar and creek crossings, but some of it also runs along old road beds, making those sections not nearly as intimidating.
This trail is 5.2 miles one-way, and can be combined with nearby trails, such as the Avery Creek trail, to make a larger loop.
